Hi Bobbie,
It is a small world when we can finger talk with folks who love children and the power that a story can generate. I also worked with young children for 35 years. I would love to read your stories. I have also written a few and someday - someone will want to publish.....DAH! if they only knew what they were missing........
Bobbie - your great!
I love your profile photo!
Post one of your stories as a blog post.
One you don't mind some publisher in China making two million copies of and not giving you a dime. :-)
Have you listed to the podcast ever? http://www.storytellingwithchildren.com/

About Me:
Once as child, I loved listening to the radio and hearing stories read in my classrooms. Then I was a teacher in Alaska for first grade, I read them stories and they wrote stories. Then I was an Art teacher in San Francisco, kindergarden through sixth grades, the children painted and drew stories. Then as a
mother, I ran a pre-school in my home; and we acted, told, wrote, and drew stories. Next, I studied how to write an excellent story through the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI); I still write and illustrate stories, which I send to editors in New York, hopeful. Finally, as an adult, I found the Storytelling Association of Alta California, SAAC, real storytellers in the Bay Area. WOW! I went to school at Dominican University and learned how to preform an or an oral story. Now, I tell folk and fairy tales, legends, and myths, and my stories to children at the Asia Art Museum, in gardens, at birthday parties, at fairs, in schools, at libraries, in camps; where ever I can and as often as I can.
